They develop revenue programs, launch initiatives and set high-level goals that accelerate growth and improve productivity.

The role: Americas NPS Sales Strategy/Ops Lead

As a member of the Americas NPS Strategy/Sales Ops team, you will shape the direction of Google product strategy for Americas and ensure that we achieve our aggressive growth aspirations.

The NPS team is the link between Product and Sales at Google, so we take a longer-term view and evaluate success from the lens of product adoption, not from quota achievement. This team is committed to driving product adoption across Search, Display, Video/YouTube, Mobile and Social. You don’t need to be a product expert, but you need to have a penchant for our products!

This role provides you a forum to showcase your project management skills, analytical “horsepower,” business judgment and strategy experience as you drive priority initiatives in the Americas. You will also be very effective working with a large stakeholder group, working directly with Americas NPS (and LCS) leadership, PSS (Product/Solutions Specialists), Regional Product Experts (RPEs), and Global Product Strategy teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as COO for the Americas NPS Leadership team. Drive impact at the center of the Product/Sales matrix.
  • Manage quarterly and annual Americas product strategy across all stages of the product commercialization lifecycle: prioritization, adoption targets, launches and feedback. (Product Strategy)
  • Manage weekly and quarterly reporting cycle (includes working with product-focused RPEs and sector/vertical-focused PSS teams), and conducting analytical deep dive projects with regional and global stakeholders. (Analytics/Insights)
  • Drive priority initiatives, including product-specific projects (to identify and drive opportunities for product adoption), and cross-cutting projects that impact all product areas (examples include developing/incubating new processes to support DVIP/Deal Review, Speakers Bureau, analyzing impact of seasonal events to project impact on CPM rates for future events).   • Manage cadence of leadership meetings, senior-level business reviews, and support NA Sales Ops on regional projects (e.g., BC updates, clarifying/improving workflows). (Project leadership)
