The Google Technical Services (gTech) team serves as the primary point of contact for our global Sales, Business Development, and Partnerships teams to support our sales organization across all products. We provide tools so that our sales teams can focus on generating revenue and leverage our strong relationships with Googles Tech teams to enable our sales organization to do multi-solution selling, launch and support new products, and help and engage our users.

The role: Partner Solutions, Shopping Operations (Trusted Stores)

The Partner Solutions team empowers the ecosystem across Sales, Product and Partners to make Offers, Shopping, Wallet, Digital Content, Knowledge, Geo/Local, Social and Ads products work. We provide end-to-end technical and operations support for partners for most of Google properties. This includes influencing product strategy, developing scalable product tools, helping onboard new partners, providing technical implementation services to some of the most strategic partners and ongoing partner management. As a member of the Shopping Operations team, you provide business critical support to our customers and sales team members through a variety of support channels, including email, phone, groups and help centers. You serve as the voice of the user, channeling feedback, bugs and product suggestions. You partner with the Product, Engineering and Marketing teams to create the best possible experience for our users. You have strong client and account management experience with a conscientious attention to detail. Your open communication style ensures our users get outstanding service.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong product knowledge within the Shopping suite of products. Become a product expert and build strong working relationships with cross-functional points of contact, such as: Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Product Quality Operations, and Legal.
  • Learn and build expertise in new processes and applications. Compile, analyze, and report out on workflow metrics, summarizing partner support metrics. Use data to independently and proactively optimise existing processes and develop new processes and infrastructure to improve internal efficiency, partner satisfaction, and product experience.
  • Escalate partner feedback and trends through various reports and analyses to drive product improvement and partner satisfaction with relevant cross-functional teams. Provide PM, Sales Operations and related teams feedback on opportunities to improve product design.
  • Optimise partners’ relationship with Google by proactively reaching out to partners in both a high touch and scaled model to aid in partner onboarding, notify partners of new features, and drive adoption rates.
  • Provide high touch account management with strategic partners for partner education, technical troubleshooting, and support within defined service level agreements. Set up and drive improvements for a vendor workforce, including: set up, training, quality reviews, and handling escalations.
