The YouTube and Video team helps budding filmmakers and musicians build careers, creates products like Google TV and YouTube Live and runs collaborative projects like Life in a Day and the YouTube Symphony Orchestra. The role: Technical Account Manager, YouTube Partner Product Solutions, Sports

As a Technical Account Manager, you are the engagement manager taking responsibility for the success of our largest partnerships. You lead deployments, optimize implementations and integrations to increase revenue, drive new business opportunities, and manage the overall technical aspects to build strong, successful, long- term partnerships. You should be a self-motivated individual looking to solidify YouTube’s strategic partnerships by working with various sports leagues, broadcasters and conferences and transform sports and live sports experience on the internet.


  • Identify, drive, and optimize the revenue flow from new existing and new business opportunities by leveraging YouTube technologies.
  • Perform implementation reviews, evangelize new product features, and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
  • Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams including Product Management and Engineering.
  • Guarantee the technical aspects of a partner’s integration (both new and ongoing) by providing necessary documentation and technical guidance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in a technical field (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience).
  • Experience in XML, HTML, JavaScript, and/or UNIX/Linux.
  • 5 years experience in product and program management in technology companies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven hands-on experience in Internet products and technologies.
  • Experience in online video and streaming technologies.
  • Strong team player and a creative thinker; ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Demonstrable project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral business communication skills.
